Microsoft cloud service Azure – the staple in the “Any developer, any app, any platform” strategy

In September of this year, Microsoft launched the Azure to the public. The creation shows features of a new cloud platform and infrastructure. Its function is to support for developing, deploying and managing applications as well as Microsoft cloud services through a full network of data centers.

For more detailed, the Azure is an open and flexible system which is under the control of Microsoft. Both users or businesses can create their own data, applications, or cloud integration into this vast cloud. Then, we can consider officially the Azure as Microsoft’s cloud operating system.

Unlike typical operating systems, the cloud tech presents the computing which focuses on all platforms and a strong helper for mobility. Hence, if users are using different platforms or hardware devices, it will be easy to integrate into this system. It is the reason why the operating system of the future is the way people call such innovation.

Azure Container Services

It is a container service on the Azure which enhances developers to deploy and manage their containers. In the process, they will make the best use of familiar tools, namely, Apache Mesos, Docker Swarm, Kubernetes, and so forth.

Azure Functions

The service enables programmers to apply the architecture models to Azure through listening and event handling mechanism. With Azure Functions, they easily build microservice solutions on Azure without having to worry about the infrastructure and cost issues with the billing model so-called “Pay only for what you use.”

Azure Cognitive Services

A service aiming to the Machine Learning is the idea of Microsoft when designing the Azure Cognitive. The product makes the function integration of image, audio and language processing easier thanks to the REST API.

Azure Bot Service

In the past, Microsoft let technology enthusiasts know about their vision and strategy of the Conversation-as-a-Platform. Next, the brand made it real by launching the Microsoft Bot Framework.

This open source framework brings programmers ability to build and integrate their bots into common chat platforms such as Skype and Facebook Messenger, etc. The story does not stop here. Microsoft did a bigger step in this strategy with the introduction of the Azure Bot Service – the very first Bot-as-a-Service on the cloud in the world. Here is a combination of the Microsoft Bot Framework and the Azure Functions to create intelligent bots by integrating with the Azure Cognitive Services without problems of the operating infrastructure and cost issues.

Azure Data Lake Services

The enormous amount of data being produced in seconds requires companies to have efficient and secure storage solutions. In addition, a big issue of the businesses these days is to access to a large data warehouse with the purpose of performing data analysis tasks. So, the Azure Data Lake Services of Microsoft is live. The software provides users with a specialized data storage and processing solution for even large sets up to petabytes (1 petabyte = 1 million GB) and trillions of objects.
